Bukovec

There are some frameworked buildings from 18th and 19th century in the Bukovec town. Local church originated from about 1930. The natural reservation Bukovec is located nearby. On a peak above the vilage we can see the “Svedska sance” an exhibit of contravallation from the Thirty Years’ War. In the school there is a small regional museum with exhibition of items which document history and way of life of antecedent citizents. Bukovec lies on former Halicska business route which connects till now this region with Poland. The charter is dated by year 1353. Already in 1792 a school had been estabilished, children used to study in an unpretencious smithery.
